These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the SOLARAE website and the purchase of products offered through our online store.
The website and online store are operated by:
SOLARAE D.O.O.
Zrkovska cesta 87

Slovenia
Tax no.: 33771880
Company registration number: 7527497000
Email: hello@solarae.eu
SOLARAE D.O.O. is not registered for VAT.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Mandatory consumer rights provided under Slovenian and European Union law remain unaffected.
1. GENERAL
These Terms and Conditions apply to visitors of the SOLARAE website and customers purchasing products through our online store.
By using our website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you are also protected by applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.
Nothing contained in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
2. PRODUCTS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting conditions and manufacturing variations.
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes.
SOLARAE reserves the right to improve, modify or update product packaging, presentation or specifications where this does not materially change the essential characteristics of the product purchased.
3. PRODUCT USE
SOLARAE skincare devices must be used according to the instructions supplied with the product.
Before using the SOLARAE Wand, please read the complete instructions, warnings and contraindications.
The product is intended for cosmetic skincare purposes and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Individual skincare results may vary depending on factors including age, skin condition, frequency of use and individual characteristics.
If you have a medical condition or have concerns regarding whether the product is suitable for you, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before use.
4. ORDERS
Products can be ordered through our online store.
Before submitting an order, customers have the opportunity to review their cart, quantities, delivery information and total price and correct any errors.
By clicking the final purchase button at checkout, you submit an order with an obligation to pay.
After successfully placing an order, you will receive an electronic order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including suspected fraud, obvious pricing errors, inability to process payment or product unavailability.
If payment has already been received for an order that we cannot fulfil, the relevant amount will be refunded.
5. PRICES
All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated on the website.
SOLARAE D.O.O. is not registered for VAT.
Any applicable shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout before the customer places the order.
The final amount payable will be clearly displayed before the order is confirmed.
6. PAYMENT
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may therefore also apply to the payment transaction.
SOLARAE does not normally receive or store complete payment-card details where payments are processed securely by an external payment provider.
An order may not be processed if payment is declined, cancelled or otherwise unsuccessful.
7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We offer fast and tracked shipping to supported destinations.
Available delivery options, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed during checkout where applicable.
Orders are normally processed as quickly as reasonably possible after payment has been confirmed.
Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where tracking is available.
Delivery times displayed on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
SOLARAE is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs procedures, severe weather or other extraordinary events. This does not affect any mandatory rights the customer may have under applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
8. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
SOLARAE may offer delivery to selected countries outside Slovenia.
Available destinations are displayed during checkout.
For orders delivered outside the applicable customs or tax territory, additional import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply.
Where these charges are not included in the amount collected by SOLARAE, they are the responsibility of the recipient.
9. 14-DAY STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers purchasing online generally have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without providing a reason, subject to statutory exceptions. Under EU rules, for ordinary goods this period generally begins when the consumer, or a person designated by them other than the carrier, receives the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement.
Please contact:
hello@solarae.eu
You may provide your name, order number and information identifying the product you wish to return.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, the product must be returned within the legally applicable period.
Unless SOLARAE expressly agrees to cover return shipping, the direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer where permitted by applicable law and where the customer was properly informed of this obligation.
10. CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS
Consumers may inspect and handle a product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, similarly to how they could inspect it in a physical store.
The consumer may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose, where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
11. REFUNDS FOLLOWING STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL
Where a consumer validly exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, SOLARAE will refund payments as required by applicable consumer law.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
For sales of goods, SOLARAE may, where permitted by law, withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until the consumer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back. Slovenian consumer rules also provide for reimbursement within the applicable statutory period following notification of withdrawal.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery method more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option do not have to be reimbursed where permitted by law.
12. 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
In addition to your statutory consumer rights, SOLARAE offers a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on eligible purchases, subject to the conditions stated on our website.
This is a voluntary commercial benefit offered by SOLARAE and is separate from your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and your legal rights relating to non-conforming goods.
To request a return under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, contact:
hello@solarae.eu
Please include your order number and relevant purchase information.
The specific eligibility requirements and return instructions communicated with the offer must be followed.
This guarantee does not limit or replace any mandatory consumer rights.
13. NON-CONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Consumers have statutory rights if goods do not conform to the sales contract.
These rights exist independently of SOLARAE's voluntary guarantees.
Where a product is non-conforming, consumers may be entitled to statutory remedies such as repair or replacement and, where the legal requirements are met, an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract.
Slovenian ZVPot-1 introduced a hierarchy of remedies for non-conforming goods, generally moving from repair/replacement to price reduction or termination, while also providing specific protection where non-conformity appears shortly after delivery.
To report a potentially non-conforming product, contact:
hello@solarae.eu
Please provide your order information and a description of the issue.
14. 1-YEAR SOLARAE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
SOLARAE provides a 1-year commercial warranty for the SOLARAE Wand, subject to the warranty conditions supplied with the product.
The commercial warranty is intended to cover qualifying manufacturing defects or device faults occurring under normal and intended use.
The warranty does not normally cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper storage, unauthorised modification, failure to follow product instructions or ordinary cosmetic wear and tear.
Most importantly, the 1-year SOLARAE commercial warranty is additional to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace, restrict or reduce them.
15. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNT CODES
From time to time, SOLARAE may offer promotional prices, discount codes, bundles or other special offers.
Promotions may be subject to specific conditions, availability and expiration dates.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other promotions.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel the use of promotional codes in cases of misuse, fraud or obvious technical error.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content available on the SOLARAE website, including the SOLARAE name, branding, graphics, website design, photographs, text, videos and other original materials, is owned by or lawfully licensed to SOLARAE.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative materials without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
17. REVIEWS & USER CONTENT
Where customers submit reviews, photographs, testimonials or other content to SOLARAE, they confirm that they have the right to provide that content.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing material.
SOLARAE will not knowingly present fabricated consumer reviews as genuine reviews.
This is particularly important under current Slovenian consumer-protection rules, which specifically address false consumer reviews and hidden advertising.
18. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, technical improvements or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including payment providers, delivery companies, analytics services and social media platforms.
SOLARAE is not responsible for third-party websites or services that operate independently from us.
Their respective terms and privacy policies may apply when you use those services.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
SOLARAE is not responsible for losses resulting from improper use of products, failure to follow supplied safety instructions or use contrary to the product's intended purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
21. PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
Information regarding the collection, use, storage and protection of personal data should be provided separately in our Privacy Policy.
Where cookies or similar technologies requiring consent are used, additional information will be provided through our cookie settings and/or Cookie Policy.
22. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
By placing an order, you agree that transactional communications relating to your purchase may be sent electronically, including order confirmations, shipping updates and customer-service messages.
Marketing communications will only be sent where there is an appropriate legal basis.
Where consent is required, you may withdraw that consent in accordance with applicable law.
23. COMPLAINTS
We aim to resolve customer concerns fairly and efficiently.
Complaints may be submitted to:
hello@solarae.eu
Please provide sufficient information for us to identify your order and understand the issue.
We will process complaints in accordance with applicable Slovenian consumer-protection legislation.
24. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without depriving consumers residing in another EU Member State of mandatory consumer protections applicable to them under EU and national law.
Any provisions concerning jurisdiction shall similarly not restrict mandatory rights available to consumers.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
SOLARAE may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, for example due to changes in our services, business practices or applicable legislation.
The version applicable to an individual purchase will generally be the version in force when the relevant order was placed.
The latest version will be published on our website together with its effective or last-updated date.
